GIVEAWAY: WIN one of THREE Hamper's of Your Choice in Organic & Natural Products From The Victorian Garden {15/07; South Africa only} CLOSED

I am so pleased to bring you my review of some of South Africa's very own natural skincare products from The Victorian Garden. The Victorian Garden are also offering three readers of African Babies Don't Cry the chance to WIN a hamper of any four products from their range. What a wonderful range it is, you are going to have a hard time deciding what to choose as your prize! As I did, when they offered up a few products to review.

The Victorian Garden prides themselves on making modern version of the popular Victorian skin, body and bath care products.

Our company has a unique history dating back to the Victorian era when Victorian ladies hand made their own moisturizing creams, lotions and bath oils using herbs and flower extracts grown in their gardens, combined with beeswax from the apiaries which many middle class and upper class Victorian households kept at the bottom of their gardens!  Our oldest original recipe dates back to 1860. By today's standards, some of the original recipes and the instructions given to make them, may best be described as hair raising, but please don't worry - we have left out the arsenic, lead and other toxic chemical ingredients  and we're focused on using as near 100% Certified Organic and Natural ingredients as possible.

Their products are made using as near 100% certified organic and natural ingredients as possible, most from popular Victorian herbal and floral extracts, but also using African plant oil and a few rare and exotic English heirloom plants for their special Royal Tudor products.

I had the pleasure of using their Rosemary and Lime Herbal Shampoo for all hair types, which I loved. I can truly say that I will be purchasing this shampoo to use again. The Victorian Garden uses natural Soapwort extract and Seaweed gel and absolutely no petrochemical ingredients found in most commercial shampoos. I have been using natural shampoos this entire year, and found this one cleansed sufficiently without drying and left my hair feeling soft. The Parsley & Lavender Hair Conditioner smells blissful and is a great creamy conditioner, leaving my hair looking nourished and shiny. I see they also have a luxurious sounding hair masque available, with rosemary and jojoba, which I will be purchasing soon!

The Primrose and Clementine Baby Shampoo  is a gorgeously fragranced soap free natural shampoo for babies, which I loved using on Jesse. His hair can be extremely wild, so I coupled this with the Parsley & Lavender conditioner and it seems to tame his long curls sufficiently. It also left his curls looking healthy and shiny.

I loved using the Chamomile Flower and Lavender Baby Massage Oil with his after bath massage. It has a strong chamomile fragrance, which helped to soothe and calm Jess down in time for bed. I love that it comes in large quantity so that you don't feel bad using it every day, and covering your baby's entire body in it!

I was not disappointed by the hand cream and soap bar I received too, and can assure that all of the products produced by The Victorian Garden are of the highest quality, and all have wonderful fragrances.
