Laslappie Crafts Hamper Review & GIVEAWAY {Ends 22/4; WORLDWIDE} CLOSED

I am so excited to be hosting my first review and giveaway here on African Babies Don't Cry. Take a moment to read the review, look at the items up for grab, share if you care to, but be sure to enter!!!

Laslappie Crafts is offering readers of African Babies Don't Cry a giveaway of 3 items from her Etsy store, including two decorative toys; a sheep, and a bear and a bunny heart in honour of Easter.

Easter is upon us, and with the media pumping commercial chocolate, finding alternatives for the Easter bunny to bring for Jesse proved challenging. Whilst browsing on Etsy, I came across a fellow South African's shop, Laslappie Crafts. Nina, owner and crafter at Laslappie Crafts is a mom of two boys, and expecting a third any day now. We have many things in common, from our love of pretty things to trying to live a greener life, and I am so glad to have found another bloggy South African friend. Laslappie Crafts stocks Scandinavian and Tilda inspired handmade crafts. Nina's crafts are all machine sewn where possible, with detailing done by hand. Her work is impeccably beautiful. Head over to her store where you can check out her full range of handmade crafts, not only does she have Easter decorations, but Christmas ones too. She also crafts household items. All her items make ideal gifts, even if they end up being gifts for yourself!

I was really interested in Nina's little decorative Easter bunny heart, looking for a keepsake for Jesse. Nina kindly added two more items to make the giveaway even more enticing, a totally huggable sheep, which is a great addition for any little girls or boys room, and a simple bear which holds so much character. 

I wouldn't advise that these toys be given to young children to play with, if your children are anything like Jesse, they are far too beautiful, but they make great decorative items or lovies for older children.

The Easter bunny heart is perfect for hanging on an Easter tree, or just about anywhere, (Jesse's is already living on his wardrobe drawer handle). The great thing about it is that it need not only be hauled out at Easter time, its a great year-round addition to the bedroom décor. Nina uncannily, and unknowingly managed to match the colours in Jesse's room perfectly. With this charming bunny heart, you will have a choice of colour. 

The toy sheep she sent me is made from the softest cream towelling, giving its 'fleece' a great realistic texture. It has the most loveable face, and is overstuffed with allergy free polyester, making it completely huggable. Indeed Jesse couldn't stop giving it loves. Complete with a beautiful raffia bow, it really is the most beautiful item. 

The simple bear is adorable and full of character, and a great addition to any child's room. Its face is hand painted.
